Continuing with this morning’s blog on the Sunseeker Predator 80 and 68, we move on this afternoon to a flybridge option – the Sunseeker Manhattan 53.
The Manhattan 53 is the first of a new line of flybridge motor yachts for Sunseeker, with the Manhattan 63 and 73 making up the range. At 18.35 metres, measuring just over the 60ft mark, there is a lot about the Manhattan 53 that is bigger than the name might suggest.
In fact, the Sunseeker Manhattan 53 is a significant leap forward from her predecessors, the Manhattan 52 and the Manhattan 50. She features an innovative 3-cabin layout, of which the full-beam Master cabin, with its feature opening portholes, is a definite highlight. Two other spacious cabins, comprising of a starboard Twin and forward VIP, bring the total accommodation onboard to 6 with the option for a single berth crew cabin to the aft.
Alastair Walton, Sales Broker for Sunseeker Beaulieu, one of the three Sunseeker offices forming Sunseeker France Group, does the tour honours for us this afternoon.
“Clients particularly like the flawless transition between the Cockpit and the Saloon which gives the extended feeling of space throughout the upper deck,” explains Alastair, “the huge Saloon windows and forward screen allow a great amount of light in, and the owners delight in using the Manhattan 53 as a real home-from-home.”
At sea the Sunseeker Manhattan 53 is spritely performer, with engine options that now include Volvo IPS 900s and the innovative new JMS system when coupled with shaft drives.
