The first ever Sunseeker 28 Metre Yacht to be based in Ibiza is shortly to be completed at the Sunseeker International shipyard.
The Owner’s decision to keep his brand new 28 Metre Yacht in Ibiza is fantastic news for the local distributor, Sunseeker Ibiza. Historically, larger boats have only tended to visit the island during high season, however the pattern is starting to change thanks to recent investment in new marinas and facilities, and more and more yacht owners are basing their vessels in Ibiza full-time.
Denis Bosmans, Sales Manager of Sunseeker Ibiza comments: “To have an iconic and award-winning Sunseeker such as the 28 Metre Yacht based on the island will reinforce the strong image that Sunseeker already has here. Furthermore, she will be available for charter and we can already feel a strong demand for her!”
Last week, Tristan Watson – an engineer from Ibiza Yachting – had the chance to go through all of the systems onboard, and received special training for the Trac stabilisers and the Vimar ByMe interior lighting system.
Tristan stated: “Every visit to the Sunseeker factory is a lifetime opportunity to increase knowledge, absorb the dedication of all the people working on the sites and offices. You come back to Ibiza proud of being part of this team. We have to say a big thanks to Dave Reed, Paul Tomlin and the guys from the site.”
