The weekend of the 12th & 13th April saw Sunseeker Poole and Sunseeker Torquay meet on the beautiful jurassic coast at the Dean & Reddyhoff Portland Marina for a weekend festival of boats, food and water sports activities, aptly named the ‘Fish & Ships Festival’! The two Sunseeker offices joined forces to display the ever popular entry-level Sunseeker, the Portofino 40.
Spencer Brown, Sales Manager for Sunseeker Poole comments; “we were delighted to be invited to display our product this weekend in Portland. Having been an integral part of the 2012 Summer Olympic games, the Dean & Reddyhoff Portland Marina has extensive facilities, perfect for keeping a 40ft+ motorboat. With a Sunseeker moulding facility based in Portland, it was really important for us to give berth holders and visitors the opportunity to view a finished Sunseeker. The Portofino 40 was very popular with all those who came onboard and as a result we hope in the future there will be one or two based here year round!”
Tom Wills, Sales Director for Sunseeker Torquay continues; “having the opportunity to show a Portofino 40 at the first ‘Fish and Ships’ show was superb. The 2012 olympics have certainly left their mark on the marina at Portland and it is the ideal venue for such an event. The clients that we showed around the Portofino 40 were all extremely impressed with not only the styling also the practicality of the accommodation, perfect for UK boating! I look forward to working at the event next year”.
