To celebrate the launch of the Victoria Sponge Bake Day – in support of the new national charity Victoria’s Promise – Sunseeker London, Sunseeker Torquay, Sunseeker Southampton, Sunseeker Cheshire, Sunseeker Beaulieu, Sunseeker Cannes, Sunseeker Monaco and Sunseeker La Napoule all baked and shared a cake to help kick off the #VPBakeday ‘bake and share’ campaign.
Sunseeker London staff are taking turns to bake a variety of different cakes each day this week to support the cause. Friends and colleagues who share a slice of the cake fundraise for this charity by texting VPSB01 to 70070 and donating £3 to this fantastic cause.
The Victoria’s Promise charity has been set up in memory of Victoria Van Der Westhuizen, the daughter of a very good friend to Sunseeker London, who tragically lost her life at the young age of 29 due to a very rare form of cancer. Victoria’s Promise, headed up by Victoria’s mother, brother and husband, is working to help fund cutting edge research and create initiatives designed to improve the lives of young women who are currently suffering with cancer.
As a cause very close to our hearts, we would love for many more people to get involved with this bake a cake campaign. All you have to do is bake a cake to share with your friends and colleagues, post a picture of it on social media, remembering to use the hashtag #VPBakeday. Your donations to Victoria’s Promise can be made through texting your amount of money to VPSB01 to 70070.
