Eat, Drink, Sleep: A Cotswolds journey by Sunseeker Cheshire

With the Sunseeker International shipyards based in Poole, naturally the Sunseeker Cheshire sales team regularly make the drive South. However it is not all hardship, as the team have discovered the beautiful rolling hills of the Cotswolds, and in particular the picturesque village of Broadway as their half way point between Cheshire and Poole, and with London equidistant to the East, the village presents the perfect location for a rural weekend get-away or a picturesque lunch time stop.

Continuing with our Eat, Drink, Sleep campaign this month, Sunseeker Cheshire offers some insight into the honey stoned idylls of the Cotswolds…

You may be mistaken for thinking you are in Tuscany, however head chef Pietro Di Marco has brought a little piece of Italy to the Cotswolds in Prego. Pietro uses locally sourced British products wherever possible to create his interpretation of Italian classics.

Pietro and the team specialise in combining wine with the food in order to bring the best out in both. Prego is open all day for restaurant meals and light lunches plus glorious pizzas and cakes to take away.

The Swan describes itself as a ‘cosy Cotswold pub’ and we couldn’t agree more. Adjacent to the village green in the picture-postcard setting of Broadway, this pub provides the perfect setting to relax and soak up the atmosphere on the terrace on a Summer evening or find a cosy corner next to the fire for a winter warmer!

The Swan prides itself on a cellar full of great wines from around the globe. However if ale is more to your taste the pub works hard to maintain their Cask Marque accreditation, sourcing guest ales from all over the country as well as more locally in the Cotswolds.

As per our Eat and Drink features this month, The Lygon Arms is set within the charming village of Broadway in the Cotswold Hills.
