Sunseeker Egypt collaborated recently with international television production company 3W (What a Wonderful World) onboard the stunning Sunseeker Predator 108 Yacht “ICU” for the filming of three television programmes in El Gouna on the Egyptian Red Sea.

The eye-catching Sunseeker Predator 108 featured in all three productions, which were filmed during the last week of April 2015. The TV company crew were in El Gouna to film a luxury destination show on El Gouna for French TV channel M6 and two special episodes of the highly rated French action show ‘Adrenaline’ for L’Equipe Television.

“ICU” was berthed outside the Sunseeker Egypt office on Sunseeker Island for the duration of the shoot, where she attracted a great deal of attention from both the yachting community and passing holidaymakers.

Sunseeker Egypt General Manager Craig Hume explains; “We were approached by the 3W producers who were looking for a luxury yacht from which they could film the TV shows and we knew their preference was for a Sunseeker. “ICU” was the obvious choice for both the Adrenaline shows and the luxury destination show, simply because it’s by far the most eye catching yacht on the Red Sea and has that real ‘wow’ factor. We approached the owner and captain, who both graciously obliged by donating the yacht with full crew for the period of the filming so we were extremely pleased.”

The Red Sea is a perfect choice for both film, television and photoshoots due to the beautiful turquoise water and all year round sunshine. Sunseeker Egypt plan a shoot for their new arrivals – a Sunseeker 68 Sport Yacht and Manhattan 55 – within the coming months and in collaboration with 3W, will film a pilot for a new show called ‘My Life My Boat’ featuring owners and their boats, to be filmed on location around the world.

The 3W crew spent two days at sea and Tawila Island, filming kite boarding, scuba diving, and stand up paddle boarding (SUP). The Adrenaline episodes will air later this year, with the M6 destination show being broadcast on May 17th to an anticipated audience of some 3 million regular viewers.
