Sunseeker Cheshire is very happy to report a successful first Northern Boat Show in Liverpool.
Representing Sunseeker Cheshire, Sales Broker Jonathan Kingsley was proud to attend the newly formed event: “The first year of the Northern Boat Show was a great success,” he explains, “although the number of exhibitors reflected the show’s relative infancy, the venue was just stunning and it has the makings of an amazing show for future years”.
Based in the Albert and Salthouse Docks in the heart of Liverpool and across the road from the brand new Liverpool One retail development, the Northern Boat Show could not have been in a better position. Adjacent to restaurants, shops, exclusive hotels, the Tate Gallery and the world famous Maritime Museum, and all within the historic docks, the show attracted crowds both from the excellent pre-show PR and the city itself.
Sharing the same weekend as the annual Mersey River Festival and just a matter of days after the disembarking of the Cunard’s three Queens ships, the show benefitted from a real sense of marine europhoria in the city.
Concluding the event and looking forward to next year, Jonathan comments: “The weather was stunning and the attendance was great. It was a pleasure to support this new show and I hope it becomes a great success. Being so close to Cheshire, we are sure this will become our annual showcase in the North.”
