Sunseeker London introduces you to their favourite Eat, Drink, Sleep, Treat this November!
Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro, a pizzeria that has hosted clients such as Keira Knightly, Leonardo DiCaprio and Boris Johnson. Why do these people love it? It’s probably the combination of being situated in the heart of Knightsbridge, just around the corner from Harrods, the delicious and authentic Italian food and the buzzy atmosphere.

Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro has now expanded worldwide with Knightsbridge venue being the original, opening in 1978 when Rock n’ Roll was in its prime. Whilst some might argue ‘Rock n Roll’ doesn’t appear in the public’s eye that often these days, Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro preserves it’s high energy status.
Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro has a gorgeous range of starters such as the Burrata, a delightful cheese served with cherry tomato and rocket salad, a starter to be shared. If you’re into sea food then you’re in luck, the restaurant also have a vast range of seafood starters and mains.
In terms of mains, the pizzeria boasts an abundance of dishes, the only problem you could possibly have is knowing which one to pick! Would it be the Raviolo Con Ricotta & Spinaci , Pollo Alla Diavola or a classic pizza, maybe the Vesuvio?
Alternatively, you could start with Jermain Jackson’s favourite starter and for your main Clint Eastwood recommends the Prosciutto Pizza.

Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro’s cool interior is comfortable and fun, a perfect place to entertain friends and family. There is live music every night and always an exultant and welcoming atmosphere.

DRINK: German Gymnasium
The German Gymnasium is situated in King’s Cross and opened to the crowds last week. The German Gymnasium, the first purpose-built gymnasium hosted at London’s first Olympic Games way back in 1866! The build was funded solely by London’s German community, respecting this history, D&D have resurrected the gymnasium in keeping with its German heritage.

Head Chef, Chef Bjoern Wassmuth is German born and has 14 years of international experience. Previously he worked at Fairmont Hotel View Jahreszeiten in Hamburg and now he provides a delicious Mittel European menu for the German Gymnasium’s Grand Café, which is open all day.

The German Gymnasium has two bars, one of which is the Meister Bar; a perfect location for an evening drink. Now kitted out with a plush and chic interior it sets the perfect ambience for a sophisticated evening of drinks hand-picked from all over the world!

The golden lit bar, marbled tables and luxurious leather seats exuberant elegance, apart from the 57ft building and the name, who could have guessed this lavish bar used to be a gymnasium? The warmly lit room is brilliant for a social night out or perhaps an intimate drink on a candlelit table.

The Meister Bar in the German Gymnasium boasts an abundance of tasty drinks, from Polish vodka to Irish coffee and Japanese whisky to Peruvian rum. You could stick with their German heritage and order from the Meister’s collection or venture out to the Caribbean to try some of their best spirits.

Fancy a glass of wine or bubbly? The Meister Bar offers you 31 of their finest wines and champagnes to choose from. It would take me days to count the range of spirits they can provide you with if you decide to move onto the harder stuff. For me, you can’t beat a flavoursome Bellini, with four delightfully effervescent flavours to choose from, it would be rude not to try them all!

Along with the already copious amount of choice the drinks menu has to offer there is also the option of deluxe cocktails, choose from the long and refreshing option or short and seductive, what’s your pick? I’m immediately drawn to the Perfect Blossoming which consists of G’vine Floraison infused lemongrass and chamomile, with fresh white grapes muddled, elderflower cordial and freshly pressed lemon juice, shaken and served in a vintage fizz glass.

If you’re not an alcohol fan, you’re driving, on a detox or had enough, do not worry! There is a wide range of soft drinks, coffees, teas, hot chocolates and even a select bar menu.
