Sunseeker International has won the award for Best Sportscruiser over 45ft at the 2016 Motor Boat Awards. The award was given to Sunseeker’s hugely popular new three-cabin Predator 57 model, which was officially launched in January 2015.
Dubbed the “Oscars of the motor boat world”, the Motor Boat Awards shortlist includes every boat tested by Motorboat & Yachting Magazine during 2015, across eight main categories. Members of Sunseeker’s senior team – including CEO Phil Popham – were present to collect the award at a gala ceremony in London’s Rosewood Hotel.
The judging panel made the following comments on presenting the award: “Our winner combines exciting looks with generous living spaces, transformative features, top-notch quality and barn-storming performance.”
The Predator 57 is a very successful model within the Sunseeker range which has become the fastest-selling model to date in 2015 with over 50 retail orders in its first 6 months. It was built with yacht lovers’ desires and needs in mind to deliver the ultimate cruising experience, and we are delighted to receive this award to recognise its success.
