They say that the taste of a meal can be greatly improved by the diner’s surroundings, and if true, The Whisky Collection Vault at The Scotch Whisky Experience must be a sublime example. Thankfully, this theory does not need to be put to the test, as the food offering is impeccable, with 5 course bespoke menus created by Executive Head Chef David Neave, whose stringent approach to local sourcing and unfussy cooking style results in dishes that will linger in the mind long after they have left the palate. Signature dishes include roast saddle of venison and treacle cured salmon.
This priceless repository of Scotch whisky is used during the day as finale to the venue’s whisky tasting experiences, but by night it can be hired exclusively for an intimate and truly memorable private dining experience.

Drink:- The Scotch Whisky Experience
The Scotch Whisky Experience offers groups the opportunity to take whisky tasting a step further, and create their own bottle of blended whisky.
The blending session starts with an in-depth nosing and tasting of contrasting regional single malts, in order to discern the whiskies’ aromas and characteristics. Once familiar, participants blend these single malt whiskies upon a base of single grain whisky, naming their unique blend and taking a small bottle home as a souvenir.

Sleep – Candacraig
Nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Candacraig is an inspiring, exclusive retreat.
Originally built in the 17th century, Candacraig House was enlarged in the Scottish baronial style with its pepper pot turrets and crow stepped dormer windows in 1836. It has been extended several times over the years and was reconstructed in 1955 retaining its Scottish style. The current owners Lynne & Marc Lino bought the property last year from Billy Connolly the famous comedian and actor and have since placed considerable investment into this stunning property.
Guests enjoy exclusive use offering 12 bedrooms, an impressive formal Dining Room, Drawing Room, Games/Billiard Room, and a Whisky Library that through many years of collecting provides a leading selection of single malts. We then also have further accommodation in an Upper Villa, Lower Villa and neighboring cottage
Outdoors, guests have full access to 18 acres of private woodland and manicured lawns, including a large Victorian walled garden, a lochan fed by the celebrated River Don and a woodland bonfire area – a very special spot to enjoy a warm drink by the fire.
