Friday 6th May – The Starlight Shooting Challenge at Highclere Castle
Sunseeker London Director David Lewis invited clients to shoot in the glorious grounds of Highclere Castle in support of the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The Starlight Shooting Challenge is one of the main events of its kind for the foundation, from which it hopes to raise funds to help grant wishes for seriously and terminally ill children in hospitals and hospices through the UK.

Guests arrived during the morning to commence the day with a breakfast in the Great Dining Room of Highclere Castle. Following the breakfast, the participants departed to commence the clay pigeon shoot spanning over 5 drives, including drive number 5 which was the ‘Sunseeker’ drive!

After finishing the 5 drives, lunch was served in Highclere’s Library famous from many scenes of the Downton family in the Downton Abbey TV series. Speeches were made and following the lunch the charity auction began.

Neil Swan, CEO of the Starlight Children’s Foundation comments: “A fabulous day was had by all that attended the annual Starlight shoot on the stunning grounds of Highclere. We had lovely weather while shooting at some very difficult drives, including the Sunseeker sponsored drive. Lots of fun was had and thanks to our amazingly generous guests Starlight raised over £300,000 to help seriously and terminally ill children.”
