Sunseeker Portugal were delighted to see the 24th edition of the Algarve Classic Cars event start in Vilamoura Marina against a back drop of stunning Sunseeker yachts and the new Sunseeker Portugal office.
Regarded as a true tradition that lives at the beginning of each July, the Algarve Classic Cars is a historical regularity race organized by the Portuguese Classic Cars Club (CPAA). More than 180 Classic Cars from all over Europe – with some dating back to the 1930’s, make this the most prestigious, biggest concentration of classic cars in the Iberian Peninsula.
Vilamoura Marina served as the starting point of the race with participants then racing around the outstandingly beautiful Algarve coast, passing by landmarks including Tavira and Loule.
The 9th July brought the participants to enjoy a pit-stop lunch at the exceptional Conrad Algarve . After fueling up with food and petrol, the drivers set off again in their rare and remarkable cars. In the evening drivers were welcomed by refreshing arrival cocktails at Casino de Vilamoura, ready to relax before hitting the road again the next day.
Sundays lunch was entertained at the Biergarten Restaurant at the Vila Vita Parc, followed by the grand finale prize giving of the 17th RTP Trophy Competition.
After a fantastic weekend the drivers then departed Vilamoura Marina, leaving Sunseeker Portugal excited for when they return next year!
