Luxury brands Sunseeker London and Boodles have joined forces with The Royal Berkshire Shooting School to launch a spectacular new clay shooting competition called The Sunseeker Boodles Cup, #SunseekerBoodlesCup
The overall winner will be able to choose one of two top prizes: either a seven-day yacht charter in the Cote d’Azur for eight guests courtesy of Sunseeker London or an exquisite piece of fine jewellery from Boodles, each worth £80,000!
For a chance of winning one of these extraordinary prizes, entrants need to first qualify for one of 20 places, then at the final, shoot 23 or more of the 25 birds. If no-one shoots 23 birds, then the next highest scoring shooter will take home £5,000 courtesy of The Royal Berkshire Shooting School – the largest ever cash prize in a British clay shooting competition.
In addition, the entrant scoring the highest out of 100 birds each week during the qualifiers will be invited to the final to shoot-off for a chance to win an exclusive, money-can’t-buy Ultimate Shoot Dinner for eight people hosted by wine writer Will Lyons worth £10,000 courtesy of Berry Bros. & Rudd.
The Sunseeker Boodles Cup will officially open on Saturday 1 October 2016 and run throughout the winter until Saturday 28 January 2017, giving entrants four months to qualify. Competitors are able to enter as many times as they wish. Entry costs just £50, which includes 50 warm-up birds plus two attempts at the sequence.
The Royal Berkshire Shooting School’s Managing Director Dylan Williams commented: “This world-class competition will appeal to both game and clay shooters. Designed to simulate high pheasants, the clay sequence has been devised by our very own Robert Cross, who is renowned for his skill in replicating the most challenging birds. The sequence is difficult – and once you add a good helping of pressure at the final it will certainly be challenging! Being able to keep a cool head and remembering foot work will be key to winning.”
